Special design hardware for the landmark Woolworth Building, located at 233 Broadway at the southwest corner of City Hall Park in New York. Building was designed by Cass Gilbert and opened in April 1913. The final special design was was issued by Yale & Towne in June 1912.

Large push/pull plates by Yale & Towne with mostly intact Bower-Barff finish (see photos for condition). The second pic is a photograph by Aaron Siskind at Chicago in 1953. The listing on the Ryerson-Burnham library website at the Art Institute of Chicago states that the photo was taken at the Walker Warehouse in Chicago, designed by Adler & Sullivan in 1890, and demolished in the early 1950s.
