While the business that became Russell & Erwin began in 1854 and the earliest catalog presently offered for purchase is dated 1866, the company consistently grew through the 1870s and 1880s to become a large manufacturer of American builder's hardware. You will be purchasing high-resolution digital copies of these catalogs for your use. Books and Catalogs are available for purchase as PDF downloads only.
Bibliographical information about books and catalogs are provided when known, including title (in italics), date of publication, pagination, and page size (height x width). Catalogs are complete unless otherwise noted. In most cases, PDFs are color scans of complete catalogs. Note: Downloads of these catalogs are sold with the understanding that they are for the personal or business use of those purchasing them, and are not for public distribution without permission from the ADCA.

- Click the "Add to Cart" button for each item that you wish to purchase. The same cart will be used for all pages of the website. If you add 10 or more books and catalogs to your shopping cart and complete the purchase of 10 or more items, you will receive a 10% discount when you checkout (the price of each item will be reduced 10%).
- When you have finished shopping, make any adjustments your cart and "Checkout" through Paypal using either your PayPal account or a credit/debit card. A PayPal account is not necessary in order to purchase books and catalogs.
- When catalogs are purchased, a "Complete Purchase" button will become available. Clicking that button will begin downloading your catalog(s) to the device (laptop, computer, or smart phone) that you are using to make your purchase. If you do not want to accept delivery at that time, simply close your browser after clicking the "Complete Purchase" button. You will receive an email that will contain a link to your catalog(s), which will allow you to download your catalogs to the device of your choice at your convenience. The links to your catalogs will remain viable for ten days.
